Lateral Tree Stretch

  1. Stand tall with your feet aligned with your hips.
  2. Place your right foot's sole against your left inner thigh with toes pointing down.
  3. Extend your right arm and put a stick an arm's length away on your right side.
  4. Take a deep breath, raise your left hand, and hold the top end of the stick.
  5. Gently bend your torso to the right, keeping your left arm extended.
  6. Stay in this position for five breaths, feeling the stretch on your left side.
  7. Inhale and return to an upright position, aligning with the stick.
  8. Exhale and release your hand from the stick, returning to your original standing position.
