Back Bend and Hip Opening

  1. Begin in a kneeling position with your right leg stretched out and the stick along your spine.
  2. Bend your right knee over the ankle.
  3. Take the stick behind your back, keeping it in line with your spine.
  4. Raise your arms to hold the top of the stick, pushing your pelvis forward.
  5. Engage your core and stay for a few breaths, keeping your hips square.
  6. Focus on alignment and choose hand positions that feel comfortable.
